“Urfear: Huhu and the Multitude of Peer Gynts”
31 October to 30 November 2020
www.urfearmpg.net

This work is a new manifestation of Multitude of Peer Gynt, an inter-Asia theater collaboration exploring the issues of “fear/anxiety” and “im/mobility” in contemporary Asia, based on a rereading of Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt. Initiated by Yudi Ahmad Tajudin and Ugoran Prasad since 2018, Multitude of Peer Gynt have been presented in East-Flores, Indonesia, Tokyo and Shizuoka, Japan in 2019.

In the midst of limitations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Teater Garasi has faced new challenges for composing a network of individual-modular performances created by collaborative artists from their respective locations (cities and countries). You will not only be able to watch the series of new works online but also digitally interact with some of them.

Our dialogue with these new mediums led us to some exciting games and tactics. Hopefully the same will happen to you. We hope to see soon on this new website.

The web will be launched on October 31, 2020.
